Measure-it Serial Key is a simple tool that allows you to scale any element from a webpage.

An easy to use tool
By drawing a ruler across any page you can check, in pixels, the width, height and the alignment of the page elements. It activates with a simple use of the keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+M.
After you enable it, the whole page will become a bit dimmer and when you start to trace your element the shape of the ruler will appear on the screen, letting you determine the measurements of your chosen elements.
Sometimes, it might be harder to accurately select an element on the page, and you cannot modify or change the location of the measurement overlay either. If you click somewhere, the overlay will just disappear.
Who is it really for?
Not a lot of people are in need of such a tool in their daily work, but for those who operate in the web development field, for example, it is a very welcomed addition, as there are not many plugins that can do this.
The extension is pretty handy when it comes to scaling static UI elements and different frontend components of a website page, and it also works with other web extensions.

Measure-it has a few basic options that you can meddle with to set them after your preference. Things like the overlay and the popup shape color, the background opacity and also the keyboard shortcut that activates the ruler can all be set as you like.

All in all, just grab this addon if you want to measure. And yes, you can hit the ESC key and the measurement window just goes away. That is a must for some!

I was surprised to find out about the “Webarchiv” project, a collaborative project initiated by C. Fred Persson that will “ensure that the internet will live on in an open, accessible, and neutral format, that can be adapted to the growing number of devices and screen sizes.”
To do that, the software will be developed on the fly, it will be executed on a retro engine, with a reduced palette. The engine is a lightweight and fast browser using either its “dramatic” or classic and extensive original GUI.
The “Webarchiv” project is still in the early days and it currently works in a simple way.
After installing the software, it is activated and it gets started.
After the software has been launched, it will only show you a blank window.
When you connect to the internet, the browser will start downloading the “Webarchiv” software and it will be activated. From that moment on you can view, read, and write internet content in your browser window.
You can go back in time (as far back as the 63rd year of the 21th century), and you can go forward in time, but not much, as you will reach 1999 and then “the same website will not automatically open in new browser window” because in 1999 there were not many websites.
The website will appear for a split second, and then it will disappear.
You could try to exit the browser session, but after a few seconds, the website will reappear.
In the future, this browser will be used as a test bed for developing further the “Webarchiv” software.
