wow, i made 2 loaves of bread today in the bread machine using this recipe. came out so smooth and light and so fresh tasting. i didn’t see any sugar, so i just used molasses and it still tasted sweet. i used a bread machine (even though i did my usual rise and then shaped it into rolls) and it came out perfect. i was extremely impressed that the yeast mixture was so easy to mix and knead. my hands were actually sore, so i was afraid to try it the first time (as others have said). i may take a chance on this again in the future, especially since i want to use this on new year’s eve. i made them around 6:00 pm and they came out a little pasty or wet due to the rising time. i just brushed them with butter and let them rise until 8:00 or 9:00 the next morning. i’m glad i read your article to make sure they were ok to eat, though! better safe than sorry with yeast bread ๐Ÿ™‚ my 11 year old son just loved them and he used that word to describe them: “amazing!”

i just wanted to let you know how happy we are with the lightning fast way this bread came out. my wife didn’t have bread making experience either. i mixed the dough, put in the yeast, let rise, and then put it all in the bread machine, where it operated the machine automatically and came out perfectly. i am sure of it this time around. it is even easier than most recipes i have tried. i used the exact ingredients as you listed. thanks so much for your help and your recipe. i will be sharing it on my website. ๐Ÿ™‚
