Gameplay
This game is built for the browser, and I didn’t want to simply tinker with the nature of the browser but rather start a new genre, a new medium.
Asemblence follows a standard 3D platformer mechanics, your player character is basically a camera, and as the camera moves, you can see the player’s in the environment. Your character has health, and can trigger platforms by jumping on them.
The premise of the game is that you are a camera, the camera is focused on a three dimensional world and as you move, your focus follows. This is your entire world.

As your player, you don’t really do anything. You simply watch the world happen around you, observing how the game decides to let you influence its nature.
