infamous second son takes place in the city of seattle, where a mysterious new drug, “no-dope”, has been created that enhances the power of its users. the government has moved in to control the drug and its use, and now the city is locked down by a bizarrely repressive law enforcement agency, the department of unified protection (d.u.p.). gameplay is divided between two characters, delsin rowe and his niece, amanda, who possesses the “infinity stone”, a mysterious power which allows delsin to transform into a superhuman being. you can switch between the two characters at any time. the game does not have any sort of auto-save feature, so save your game at will, and use the “quick save” option in the pause menu to go back to the last save. you also have a limited amount of health and ammo, so be careful when fighting against opponents.
