Themes

AutoCAD has a unified theme system that allows the user to easily modify the look and feel of the software without any need to alter the software code. This theme system is based on the previous QDS system.

All users have a library of themes stored in their profiles. The library is named User themes. Themes are stored in a database, called Theme DB, that is stored in the User themes folder.

All themes are generated in a subdirectory of the User themes folder, named by the date the theme was generated. The original theme is usually named theme.123.
