We are honored to pay tribute to this story and the musicians who helped build the movement from the beginning.”
The tribute concert will be broadcast live on PBS and streamed on All Access. It will mark the first time “Jailhouse Rock” has been performed live on the air since a television appearance in 1974. The special will also feature audio clips of the music from the film, photographs, film clips and archival content.
“Jailhouse Rock” will showcase songwriters and performers who were vital to the creation of rock music. Featured performers will include the studio musicians who played on the classic 1956 recording sessions: Richard Dehr, Richard Podolor, Glen Campbell, Jack Anglin, Tommy Tedesco, Jules Brown, Sid Sharp, Floyd Cramer, Lloyd Green, Garth Hudson, Bob Crosby, Glen McGee, Tommy Tedesco and Gene Page. A film score will be performed by the Carolina Sunshine Band, the studio musicians featured in the movie.

The ALevIN framework allows for the creation of a testing environment where researchers can share their algorithms, apply them on new data, and compare their performance. The goal of this framework is to help researchers in their work. The framework is free, open-source and provided under the GNU GPL license. It allows researchers to use virtual networks built on top of hypergraphs.
In short, the framework is for everyone, including researchers, developers, educators and companies. It is easy to use and provides a very rich framework to create your own embedding algorithms.
The framework is focused on developing and benchmarking virtual networks embedding algorithms.
Embedding algorithms consist in giving a vector to each node of a graph in order to explore its neighborhood. To do so, the framework allows you to generate many graph topologies, and to measure different properties of the generated virtual networks.
About virtual networks:
Virtual networks are graph topologies where each node represents an agent, and an edge stands for a cooperation among two agents.
What is the framework:
ALevin is based on the MuLaViTo framework. It extends it in order to add two main functionalities: the ability to create virtual networks from scratch or starting from hypergraphs, and the ability to easily benchmark and compare algorithms.
The framework is composed of two main modules: virtual networks embedding and network datasets.
Virtual networks embedding:
ALevin provides the possibility to generate virtual networks based on hypergraphs. This is done by 3 main functionalities: initialization of hypergraphs, construction of virtual networks and embedding of virtual networks.
– Initialization: The initialization function of the framework allows to create hypergraphs. Thus, it allows users to generate hypergraphs based on their background and domain knowledge. It also allows the user to vary the parameters of the initial hypergraphs or to generate a random one.
– Construction: The construction function of the framework allows users to create new virtual networks from scratch or starting from hypergraphs. It also allows users to weight the edges of the virtual networks based on their data.
– Embedding: The embedding function of the framework allows users to embed virtual networks on a given dataset. It also allows users to generate virtual networks based on a given dataset. Users can also manipulate the output of the embedding function to highlight the most representative nodes for their datasets.

ALEVIN is composed of two components: the application and the application support, which interacts together.
The Application component is the essential part of ALEVIN, it is what the user will interact with and it should decide which methods should be used, how to combine them, what data type to use, how to manage the results and a lot more.
And then, the Application Support component is the necessary part of ALEVIN, it is composed of a set of classes that will help the user to interact with the application component and make it possible to implement his own algorithms.
ALEVIN is the only framework that allows to use two different methodologies: the greedy algorithm and the reinforcement algorithm.
When using the greedy algorithm all the edges of a node are visited in order to find the best solution found so far. This solution is selected or updated using a fixed heuristic function.
The process is repeated using the heuristic function, and these steps are repeated until all nodes are visited or the maximum number of iterations is reached.
When using the reinforcement algorithm there is no fixed order for which the nodes will be visited.
However, the heuristic function is changed at every step to determine if the reinforcement algorithm should be executed.
ALEVIN architecture:
The ALEVIN framework consists of 5 main components.
(1) The Base Class Library: This library is the core of ALEVIN. It contains the most fundamental classes for the development and analysis of embedded graph algorithms. Some of these classes are:
– Data structure for graphs: Hashtable, MultiMap, HashBag, TreeSet, LinkedList
– Basic data types: Boolean, Byte, Short, Integer, Long, Float, Double, String, HashTableMap, HashTable, HashBag
– Utilities for working with graphs: Graph, AdjacencyMatrix, Collections of Graphs, GraphicDecisionTree
– Basic classes for NLP algorithms (Named Entity Recognition, Name Entity Disambiguation): Graph (Disambiguation), Node Label (Disambiguation)
– Basic classes for Image Analysis: Canny, FastMorphological
– Classes for Adaptive Networks: Node Adaptation, Edge Adaptation
The library also contains basic classes for network analysis: Shortest Paths, K-Shortest Paths, Shortest Nodes, HubNodes, Degree, Distance
– The Clusters Class Library: This library contains the most fundamental classes for a network
What’s New in the ALEVIN?
ALEVIN is a framework consisting of a variety of services:
1) A multimodal data provider and a flexible metadata service;
2) Multimodal visualization components;
3) Multimodal algorithms implemented in an object-oriented design; and
4) A software platform that provides a basis for integrating the multimodal algorithms.
The network creation and annotation service of ALEVIN makes it possible to enter data from different sources and offer them as embedded networks to be visually analyzed in a comparative manner. For the purpose of standardization ALEVIN is freely available under an open source license. It makes use of the vector layout editor Leo, an open source vector-based drawing tool.
